I Want A Mogwai
I want a mogwai. I was surfing through the net earlier today and found a picture of Gizmo (For those of you who didn’t watch Gremlins, Gizmo was the original Mogwai - the smartest and most benevolent one at that…).
There’s no particular reason for these sudden flights of fancy. I guess I just have a thing for cute cuddly little… errr… things - especially furry ones.
I don’t want an evil mogwai. Like I wouldn’t want to take care of a dog that bites me as soon as I turn my back, I don’t want a mogwai I need to keep caged all night. I don’t want to keep feeling afraid he might suddenly devour a box of doughnuts after the clock turns 12 and metamorphose into a so very uncute gremlin. I want a mogwai who’s smart enough to stay away from food after midnight, and who’s afraid of the sudden epileptic seizures caused by exposure to water (Mogwai multiply when they get wet… just because they’re so cute). No matter how cute they are, a pack of furry little mogwai can be a bit much to handle.
I want a mogwai, but I want just one.
