Proposing
When I stepped off the plane, my heart was beating a thousand beats a minute. After 4 straight days of almost constant travel, I was finally here… where my heart was. When I left Tokyo, everybody was wearing suits and coats. Here, in my blazer and long-sleeved knits, I feel conspicuously out of place. I’m overdressed.
She greeted me as soon as I entered the terminal.
I hurried to the luggage counter to check on the flowers I had ordered the previous day. Having had no time to confirm whether they had arrived properly or not, I was relieved to find out that the teller had them waiting for me at the counter.
She was pleasantly surprised when I handed her the bouquet. It was huge, all but covering her torso as she held it waist high
“This is for you.”, I said, “Read the card.”
I knelt down on one knee, in the middle of New Plymouth airport, people milling about, and took her hand in mine.
On the card was written, “Mona Liza Estolas, Will You Marry Me?” - and I slipped the diamond ring onto her finger.
My heart leapt for joy when she said yes, and we left the airport to congratulations and compliments from the people all around.
I did it.
We’re engaged.

Stuff of this kind always sounds attractive, no matter what exactly is written. My friends and I always visit this page and write a lot of comments, because this type of news are amazing.

Thanks!
Love certainly is amazing, and it helps you do things you wouldn’t normally be able to achieve.
